Target Users of e4
This wiki has been set up by the ELOST consortium in order to support research and development in the area of eGovernment.
The core aims are to assemble all known barriers against eGovernment usage and present suggestions and practise solutions from various countries in Europe and beyond.
What e4 has to offer
The e4 Expert Exchange System contains information on eGovernment and population groups of low socio-economic status. The information provided is based on web research (eGovernment practice), quantitative (statistics, mass surveys, etc.) and qualitative data (interviews with experts and members of population groups of low socio-economic status.
How to find information in the e4 Expert Exchange System
- All articles are assigned to certain Categories so that they can be found more easily.
- The Sitemap (see 'content' sidebar at the left) gives a good overview of all the Categories and subcategories.
- The most interesting new articles are announced in the Community Portal.
- All articles are listed in a Special page.
e4 in YOUR LANGUAGE?
All articles will be in English as the e4 Expert Exchange System targets experts all over Europe and beyond. However, all articles will have short abstracts in various languages inside. This will
- facilitate searching the wiki in your own language: type your keywords into the search field (see left!) and the search engine should find all articles which contain these search terms.
NB: This will only work, for articles where abstracts are available - so, help all others by providing concise abstracts!
- enable you to check whether this article is worth translating into your language in case you are not confident in using English texts.
You can also switch the language of the main navigation at the left and at the top of all articles.
You can create a Welcome Page (see red box at the top) or abstracts in your language if they are not available yet.
